A university is hosting senior figures from nuclear institutes in the former Soviet Union.

Representatives from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Belarus are to study at De Montfort University.

The course will teach delegates skills for the international business environment such as the language of International meetings and negotiations, international marketing, brand management, intellectual property rights, entrepreneurial skills, team building and conflict management.

David Boydon, course manager and head of the centre for English language learning, said: "De Montfort University is privileged to be able to design and deliver a course which is both academically challenging and practically useful for the participants."

Participants, who are staying with local families, include researchers and scientists.
